A Secure and Anonymous Communication Platform

Maze is the next-generation communication platform designed to prioritize privacy, security, and freedom for its users. Maze aims to create a platform where users can connect and interact with absolute confidence and does so by combining cutting-edge cryptography, decentralized architecture, and blockchain technology.

The application applies advanced technologies, including onion routing and metadata obfuscation, ensuring that the platform hides the origin, destination, and content of communications.

FAQs

The Maze Communication Platform is a fully decentralized, privacy-first messaging system that combines end-to-end encryption, onion-style routing, and blockchain-based infrastructure to ensure user confidentiality and resistance to censorship.

You can create an account using a Web3 wallet (e.g. MetaMask). No personal information or email address is required - your wallet address serves as your unique identifier.

The architecture of Maze Network is designed to operate seamlessly across multiple platforms, allowing us to connect with our targeted audience effectively.

Here's the planned rollout for supported platforms:

Android and iOS applications: Are scheduled for release in Q2 2025.

Windows/macOS Application: Planned release between Q2 and Q3, 2025.

Web Application: Planned release between Q2 and Q3, 2025.

Linux Application: Planned release between Q3 and Q4, 2025.

Token holders can access premium features like VPN, decentralized storage and advanced moderation. Additionally, token holders get early access to reserve and select their usernames before anyone else, ensuring they can secure their preferred identity on the network.

Yes - the core application, including its decentralization infrastructure and end-to-end encryption libraries, is fully open source and will be available for inspection, auditing, and contribution. However, certain advanced security features - such as the AI-driven spam/bot detection engines and proprietary moderation tooling - are not open source to protect the integrity of the network’s defenses. This hybrid approach ensures transparency where it matters most while preserving the effectiveness of sensitive security components.

Maze obscures metadata by routing messages through multiple onion‐style hops, optionally leveraging TOR, and applying randomized padding so that no single node sees your IP address, message size, timing patterns, or routing path. In addition, any metadata embedded in images or videos (such as EXIF data, timestamps, or location tags) is automatically stripped or obfuscated before uploading, ensuring that media you share cannot be traced back to you or reveal unintended details.

A one-time chat link is a single-use invitation URL that lets anyone join a specific group or conversation - even if they don’t already have a Maze account. Once the recipient clicks the link, they’re granted immediate access, and the link then expires to prevent any further reuse or unauthorized entry.
